Breaking Your Journey

Do you know about our 60 day 'Flexi Travel Policy'?

This gives you 60 days from the date you join the Indian Pacific, The Ghan or The Overland to complete your holiday. Break your journey en route for touring or catch up with friends or family. It's a great way to explore Australia.

Example: Join the Indian Pacific in Sydney. Get off in Adelaide to explore the delights of South Australia. Rejoin the Indian Pacific in Adelaide to continue your journey, finally disembarking in Perth. All for the price of the Sydney to Perth fare.

2 Gold Service guests travelling together can even take their car on and off the trains en route and pay from just $99 to $299 (valid for travel 1st April 2008 to 31st March 2009) (Refer to Taking your car).

Note: All travel sectors must be booked at time of booking. All travel is one-directional. Travel sectors may be altered but are subject to availability at time of booking. Amendment fees may apply.

Rail Passes

Rail passes offer an economical, safe and comfortable way to discover all that Australia has to offer. Passes are valid for travel in Red Service Seats / Economy Class and need to be pre-booked. Click Here for more info
