DAY 1: Sunday
Join The Ghan in
Adelaide to Alice Springs
After boarding at Adelaide Parklands Rail Terminal, your first day on The Ghan begins with a light lunch in the Restaurant Car as you travel North towards Spencer Gulf and Port Augusta. (LD)

DAY 2: Monday
Alice Springs
After arriving in Alice Springs you’ll have time to look around town or enjoy a Whistle Stop Tour before reboarding the train and enjoying the desert scenery as you continue your journey North overnight. (BLD)

DAY 3: Tuesday
Nitmiluk National Park (Katherine) & Elsey
National Park (Mataranka)
In the morning you arrive in Katherine where you will be collected to commence your Raillink tour. Enjoy a memorable visit to Mataranka, morning tea at the Territory Manor and see the Barramundi fish feeding at the billabong. Then it’s on to Mataranka Homestead to visit the magical Thermal Pool with time for a quick swim before visiting Elsey Homestead Replica, built when filming ‘We of the Never Never’. Travel back to the Territory Manor for lunch before heading to Nitmiluk National Park to join a two hour boat cruise at the outstanding and spectacular Katherine Gorge. The evening is at your leisure. Overnight at Pine Tree Motel – Katherine. (BL)

DAY 4: Wednesday
Kakadu National Park
Depart Katherine early this morning for an exciting two days in Kakadu National Park. You will approach via the Southern End through Mary River and visit Waterfall Creek (Gunlom), a deep permanent pool fringed by pandanus palms and high cliffs. Then it’s off to Cooinda, home of Yellow Waters. Enjoy the variety of birds, wildlife and crocodiles on a sunset cruise. Overnight at Gagudju Lodge Cooinda – Kakadu. (L)

DAY 5: Thursday
Kakadu National Park
An early rise this morning as you depart Cooinda for Nourlangie Rock, just like magic this time of the morning. Today you will create long lasting memories of Kakadu including Ubirr, Bowali Visitor Centre, Border Store, South Alligator and so much more. Arrive in to Darwin early evening at the Mantra on the Esplanade, your base for the next three nights. (L)

DAY 6: Friday
Darwin
Today is yours to relax, shop or simply look around this warm and cosmopolitan city. Why not join an optional tour – see pages 9-12 of the Green Seasons brochure for further information. (B)

DAY 7: Saturday
Litchfield National Park
Join your coach tour to Litchfield National Park today. This waterfall wonderland is less than two hours from Darwin. View Florence Falls from a high vantage point then make your way down the stairs to the plunge pool. Move on to the magnificent water cascades of Tolmer and Wangi Falls where you can take in the scenery or enjoy a leisurely swim. The guided walks through the bush and monsoon vine forest areas are as interesting as they are beautiful. (B)

DAY 8: Sunday
Darwin
Your holiday package ends when you check out of your
